What: Access Granted to Border Wall Resistance to Monitor the Container Wall Removal

The Forest Service issued closure order 03-05-03-22-037 on December 29, 2022 prohibiting public access to the illegal container wall area in the Coronado National Forest. This closure goes into effect January 3, 2023 and is scheduled through March 15, 2023.
Members of the Border Wall Resistance have been granted access after conversations with The Center for Biological Diversity and the Sierra Vista Ranger District, Coronado National Forest. The assignees will monitor and document the State of Arizona’s removal of unauthorized shipping containers, miscellaneous supportive equipment, and project-related materials from the Sierra Vista Ranger District, Coronado National Forest.
All information ascertained through first-hand experience or physical documentation will be shared on a regular basis with the Coronado National Forest.
